Kurama nods at the question. The two dark and beautiful people who have just entered compliment each other well.
"He left in quite a hurry." Kurama informs.
"Thank you." the shorter of the two says.
"No problem." Kurama says with a graceful nod of the head. "My name is Kurama. It's nice to meet you."
"I'm Chenjing and this is my companion Dear." the shorter one informs.
Kurama blinks. Dear. Wasn't that a term of endearment? Or perhaps it was Deer.
"That's an...interesting name." Kurama says. "May I ask how you spell that?"
"D-e-a-r." Chenjing spells out.
"I'm afraid my English isn't that good." Kurama says. "But isn't 'dear' a term of endearment?"
"It does mean that in English." Chenjing admits. "And your English is excellent. May I ask where you are from?"
"Japan." Kurama says.
Chenjing and Dear smile.
"We are from Japan as well." Chenjing says.
Without further preamble, they lapse into an animated conversation in Japanese. |
