Duo's joke gets Leena's head up out of her notebook. She looks at the group of laughing students then at Duo. Leena smiled and reached a hand into her backpack.
"well, Duo, if you get really desperate...." Leena pulled her hand out of her bag. "you can always make use of this."
She tossed an empty styrofoam cup at Duo. The cup had held Leena's morning coffee that she had brought with her to ethics. The cup was now empty and Leena had no use for it at this point.
Leena smiled at Duo while he looked at the cup. A few students close to her held back laughter and waited for Duo to come up with a response. |
