Startled at the response to his half-question, Duo laughed.
"No, hell didn't freeze over yet. But I sure wish it had sometimes." he replied with a grin. "I know I'm such an idiot sometimes. I should just learn to keep my mouth shut. Everyone says I talk to much, except Terry. He actually likes to hear me talk."
He laughed again.
"I'm babbling aren't I? Sorry. I can't seem to stop when I'm bored. I mean, you're drawing so I'm probably annoying you but I can't draw and I haven't got a thing to do since the prof isn't talking." he continued.
He knew that he should shut up soon, but he also knew that his meaningless rambling would help the people around him take their minds off being locked in. He knew that a lot of people were very uncomfortable with being locked inside. He never had that problem; piloting Deathscythe cured him of it long ago.
"I wonder if the prof's going to start teaching or do we just stay here until our bladders burst." he wondered out loud.
That drew a laugh from the students around him. |
