Cresta looked up briefly as Iliana burst into the room.
"We're not sure what happened. You'll have to contact security. Bwoshih's with them now."
The loudspeakers blared out the message. Iliana was stuck in the medical facilities as the doors shut. Both Cresta and Iliana paled.
"Code 3." Cresta whispered.
"What's a Code 3?" a medic asked.
"Haven't you read your book?" Fanuihl snapped in irritation at the medic without taking her attention off of Ananda.
"A Code 3 is when there is a dangerous intruder on the grounds." Cresta said. "Contact was made through an attack and cameras have been destroyed so we must presumed that the intruder is armed someway. At least, that's the condensed version. I'd tell you the whole version but I don't know it by heart. We just stay put until security finds the intruder. No one is getting in or out of YUME now. You can't even get in or out of the school grounds."
"Wow." the medic whispered.
Fanuihl snorted at the medic and kept monitering Ananda.
"Anything I should do?" Chenjing asked, entering the room and glancing around.
"Stay put for now please." Cresta said.
Chenjing nodded and returned to Dear's side.
"You can use the console there to contact security if you want." Cresta said to Iliana, who nodded. |
