Bwoshih was on his way back to his classroom when he felt a sudden tremendous blast of psychic energy. Worried about whomever received that blast, Bwoshih imediately began scanning for the familiar mind signatures of the staff and the students that he already knew. Halfway through, he stopped as he realised who it was. He teleported himself to the Sorcery classroom where Ananda was sprawled on the floor, unconscious. He ran over and knelt beside her.
"Ananda." he called loudly. "Ananda."
He scanned her mind but it was comepletely blank. He checked her pulse and it was shallow but steady. He carefully picked her up and cradled her to his chest. Concentrating hard, he teleported them to the medical facilities. Cresta gave a little shriek of surprise but recovered quickly.
"What happened?" she asked.
"Someone attacked her psychically." Bwoshih informed. "Her mind is blank but her life signs seem alright."
"Get her on the bed." Cresta ordered.
Bwoshih gently laid Ananda on the bed and stepped back to allow Cresta to examine her.
"Doc! I need you in here a.s.a.p.!" Chresta yelled.
An irritated looked woman in lab coat came into the room. Irritation fled as the woman realised who was on the bed. Fanuihl rushed over to Ananda's side and began to examine her as well.
Bwoshih teleported himself into the security office, startling Refractions and Ohta, who almost shot him in surprise.
"Some psychic villian attacked Ananda." Bwoshih informed quickly. "I don't know where this villian is, but he or she might strike again." |
