Duo smiled at Leena's apology.
"You weren't running on. I understand what you were saying." he said. "Besides, I'm the king of babbling."
He laughed at himself.
"Anyway, I'm glad you like it. We should get going though, we want to get back before the prof returns. I'll go turn on the lights." he said.
He ran over to the wall and turned the light on so that the room was bright white again. Leena had gotten up and was walking towards the door. Duo winked broadly.
"This'll be our little secret." he said with another impish grin.
Leena smiled back as they left the room and headed back to the classroom. They slipped inside with seconds to spare. |
