Percivale looked around the room and realised that no one would answer her. She decided to pick on someone. Her gaze settled on the tall boy who was idly playing with the hair of the redhead in front of him.
"You, the tall boy." she said.
He looked at her quizzically.
"Me, Professor?" he said.
"Yes, you." she replied. "Tell me, what do you expect to learn here?"
He smiled at her then, so confidentally that it surprised her.
"I expect to learn everything." he replied. "I expect to learn about the different types of ethics in this world and in other worlds and universes."
Percy stared at him in surprise. She had not expected such an answer from a boy who didn't look that bright. He looked at her with that confident smile and she looked away.
"Alright. Anyone else want to offer any suggestions about what we're going to learn here?" she asked. "No? Alright then, I shall begin with the Egyptians." |
