Andrew smiled at the younger mage and replied, "Good morning, Floogster-chan."

Darkwind, perched precariously upon his mindbonded's shoulder, cast a circular eye filled with suspicion towards the Luggage. He didn't like the unnatural feel that familiar of Floogster's had. In fact, now that Darkwind thought about it, they both felt so....foreign. It wasn't that everything on this Earth was foreign, but that most of it at least felt /similar/ to what Darkwind was used to and the Luggage did not. As long as Floogster kept that thing under control Darkwind would tolerate it, but he /was/ curious.

::Interesting pet::

::Indeed:: Andrew replied with what Darkwind interpreted to be a mental shrug, showing his lack of interest in the bondbird's train of thought.

"I'm not sure why it's locked,' Andrew said in answer to Floogster's question, 'Either there's something going on inside that we're not supposed to witness or the teacher hasn't arrived yet. Perhaps she is ill today and they are trying to find a substitute." He shrugged, "Either way I'm sure we'll get an answer soon enough."
