Leena looked away from the man with the sword at the front of the room and returned to staring blankly out the window. Leena tuned out the boring story about the ethics of the inca peoples and thought back to that morning at the pool.
She smiled softly when she remembered playing tag with the 3 boys. It had been so long since she had played any kind of game that wasn't a training exersice. It had been different. She had felt like she had years ago when her parents still lived. She had played tag like that in every city and country they ever lived in. It had been a fun game to play, even if she only had the animals to play with.
Those boys this morning had gotten her to do something she hadn't done in over 10 years.... laugh freely and be young...
Maybe next time she wouldn't try so hard to avoid joining in. If there ever was a next time that is. Leena had no idea if she would ever be in the situation again.
Leena blanked her mind of her musings and *tryed* to focus on what Canell rambled about at the front of the class.
*Gym again at lunch, after i eat.* Leena decided as she started to drift, the class was sooo boring. *must regain focus for fight class. If this class ever ends.*
It had only been about 5 minutes but it had felt like lifetime... oh to be free of this one classroom, anything has to be better than this. |
