Skyshadow opened one eye just wide enough to allow a thin stream of light into his pupil. It was already bright out and he was still in bed. "No, Darkwind, I should be up already. School will start soon. Are you coming to class today?"
::Perhaps. Do you want me to?::
"I don't think that'll influence you either way."
::True, very true. I'll be there for the first while, at least. I don't want you to be as unsettled as yesterday. Speaking of which, you still haven't told me what happened::
"We'll talk later. Maybe while we train."
Darkwind, currently in his merlin-eagle form cocked his head to one side, staring at Skyshadow for a long moment before nodding his assent, however reluctant it seemed.
"I really wouldn't mind an extra hour of sleep..." Skyshadow said, looking back at his bed wistfully.

The pale-haired sorcery student smiled dryly. "Who said I wasn't going to? I was just commenting. Now, let me get ready. I'm sure you have feathers to preen and so on..."
Of course, Darkwind couldn't help vanity with feathers like that and so, grumbling mentally, he did was Skyshadow had suggested he do.
A short while later they were also on their way to class, but when they arrived they found the door locked.
