Kythra sat on the window ledge of her room, using the slanted rays of a sun which had barely risen to cast the light she needed. The room smelled faintly of wood as she polished her rifle yet again. She'd already checked everything to make sure it was all in working order.
The first class today was Ethics. She could bullshit her way through it without any problem. All they looked for in that class was whether or not you were a danger to society if and when you graduated. Any student could lie their way through it, she was sure. Ethics...bah, what a waste of time. Why didn't they have another session of Gunsmithing instead? That would've been a hell of a lot more useful.
"I wonder if the teacher is some prude. I wouldn't be surprised. How can someone possibly mark your perception of right and wrong? To me all that matter is whether or not anyone sees you. No witnesses equals no problem."
She wondered if she could get another practice run finished before class started...
The alarm ringing in the room next-door told her that her roommate was finally up. Well, lucky her would get the dorm all to herself while Kythra was hard at work. /Lazy girl/ Kythra thought with disdain.
