Chenjing woke up to the sunlight and promptly got up to
wake Dear, who, surprisingly, was still asleep.
"Dear, it's time to wake up." Chenjing said.
Dear didn't wake immediately like usual and Chenjing blinked in alarm.
"Dear?" Chenjing repeated.
Dear mumbled and rolled over to stare into Chenjing's worried eyes.
"What?" Dear asked.
"It's morning." Chenjing said.
"Is it? I feel so sleepy still." Dear said.
Now Chenjing was really alarmed. Dear was always the first one up and feeling
chipper.
"Are you alright?" Chenjing asked.
"I don't know." Dear replied. "I feel drained somehow. Maybe
it has something to do with this place."
Chenjing watched in worry as Dear slowly sat up. Dear noticed the worry and
smiled reassuringly.
"Don't worry Chenjing, I'll go talk to the medics and see what they
think." Dear said.
"Okay." Chenjing agreed doubtfully.
They began to get ready for the day
