Terry
surfaces and grins broadly at Leena as she opens her eyes again.
"That was a great race." he compliments. "We shall have to do
that again sometime."
Leena nods her agreement.
"So how was your first day?" Terry asks. "I got in trouble
with my math teacher and I don't think my weaponry professor likes me. All in
all it was a good day I suppose. It could have been worse, the professors
could have actually liked me."
He grins again and Leena laughs at his statement.
"I fell victim to mistakes in the class lists and now my math professor
doesn't seem to like me, or the principal, and seems to mumble about us in a
language I don't understand." Leena replies. "Although I have a
feeling that I don't want to know what he's saying. I also seemed to tick off
the gym teacher."
"Struth. And I thought I had it good." Terry comments quietly.
"I had a really rough day overall. But...I did beat all my sparring
partners in fighting class." Leena adds.
"That's always something fun." Terry agrees with a grin.
"Did you happen to hear that racket last night coming from the
library?" Leena asks suddenly.
"Yes, I did hear some noise. Although I was already half-asleep so it
all went in one ear and out the other." Terry replies with a
self-deprecating smile.
"Lucky you." Leena comments.
She starts to swim a lazy backstroke. Terry walks along beside her, being in
the shallow end makes it hard for him to eggbeater.
"Hey!" comes a voice.
Terry looks up to see a grinning Duo with arms akimbo.
"So this is where you're hiding." Duo accuses mock-sternly.
"Do you think you can just leave a person's side in the morning without
a word?"
Terry sighs and then smiles as he sees Kurama.
"Good morning caro." he says.
"Good morning Terry." Kurama replies. "I thought I would join
you, if you don't mind."
"Come on in." Terry replies.
Kurama gracefully dives into the water. Duo wrinkles his nose and
deliberately does a belly flop. Terry laughs as both surface at the same
time. He swims over to them and proceeds to splash Duo as he surfaces.
"Injustice!" Duo howls as he gets a faceful of water.
He retaliates by splashing Terry back. Kurama has gone from his dive to a
rapid front crawl. As he comes back to the deep end, Terry reaches over and
wraps a long arm around Kurama's waist. He yanks Kurama over and heaves him
in the air, dropping him next to Duo, who gets splashed. Kurama gasps in
surprise as he lands. Kurama surfaces with a very, very blank look. Duo
growls fiercely.
"Terry...." they both say very calmly.
Terry looks a little scared and then makes a swim for it. The others come
after him.
"Leena! Save me!" he begs as he tries to escape them.
