Andrew frowned at what was happening, he was watching out of the corner of his eye. His fellow students weren't really making much of an impression on him. He turned his eyes back to the textbook in front of him and sighed, brushing a long strand of hair out of his eyes in a graceful, thoughtless movement. Was math class always going to be like this?
He hadn't been as taken aback by the teacher as most of the students probably were, but he was still surprised. He'd seen many things in the Pelagirs, but hadn't counted on seeing the like on Earth. He wondered if there was something about it in the Archives…he'd have to check on it later. While the teacher was busy returning to her adult form Andrew took the time to spare a glance at the other students. He kept a completely neutral smile on his face as he did so. It really wouldn't do to have them think either way about him at this point. Would he have to fight these people? Would they be his friends and equals or would he have to hold his own against or in spite of them…and how soon?

Darkwind was pacing along the grass outside the math room. If anything went wrong he'd know instantly. But he wasn't there to guard his mindmate. The sad truth was that he was bored already. He would've gone with Skyshadow to class, but he knew several of the students had felines this year and they didn't sit well with him. Either they disliked him immediately or they tried to eat him depending on what form they first saw him as. With a growl of frustration he fell over onto his side into the tall greenery. It was going to be a very long day. He thought about hunting, but he wasn't hungry yet. His tail flicked back and forth in annoyance and he got back to his feet, trotting off to survey the campus. 'Shadow would probably appreciate it if he picked out a good horse for him.

A thin, athletic looking girl with long orange hair dug her thumbnail into the smooth shaft of the spear resting against her chair. She looked decidedly bored with the whole chain of events. Math really wasn't her subject. The teacher was shouting some sort of incantation. Her head turned slowly to watch, but she moved her gaze away so she wouldn't be staring. She caught the eyes of a light-haired male sitting in the front and looked away. Grumbling softly to herself she decided maybe looking out the window was the best thing to do. Kuwaguma was always a little unsettled when dealing with the people here. Math. Why did they have to start with math? It was like they were testing her. She looked worriedly at the blank piece of lined paper in front of her and wondered just how many Fs she could foresee. Needless to say her stress level increased significantly at the thought. Why, oh why was she here?
