OOC: *kicks back another gulp of Canada Dry* Aaah...nice. *grins* And my mini-spree of posting continues...This is what happens when one of the other founders starts bugging me to post. *looks pointedly at said founder* I *do* have homework, you know.

Maisy grumbled to herself as she headed down the hallway. So far her roommate had dashed off at every single opportunity. Damn that guy! Who did he think he was flaunting his speed specialty in her face all the time??? A stress mark appeared on her forehead as she rounded a corner. It wasn't like they were late or anything. She was so irritated she nearly bumped into another student heading from another corridor of dorms.

"Oh, excuse me..." she said, smiling apologetically.

"Heh, watch where you're going."

Maisy blinked. Who was that? She didn't have an opportunity to ask as the other girl kept walking. It soon became obvious that they were heading to the same class.

"Who are you?" the co-head of student council asked, hurrying to catch up with the unknown student's long stride.

"Arowenoa Kythra," she answered, finally slowing down to let Maisy catch up.

"Kythra's your first name, right?"

Nod.

"I'm Maisy! Nice to meet you." She held out a hand, but Kythra didn't seem to notice and just kept walking. The conversation was getting nowhere, but long experience had taught Maisy not to be discouraged by such things. Kythra was probably just testing her.

Kythra entered the room ahead of the blonde-haired girl and cast a suspicious glance towards the teacher. Could someone who looked that much like a stuffed animal really teach? She'd heard about this 'Mog' somewhere, but she had never expected that he was a math teacher. She took a seat next to the window, as isolated as possible from the other students. She showed no signs of socialising with any of them.

~

Maisy blinked in surprise and came to a stop in the doorway. Mog was teaching this class? She wondered whether to be glad or not at this. She waved to him sheepishly. "Good morning!" she said, more to the class in general than just the teacher. She spotted Okra at a desk in the back and took the one next to it. He may be able to get away from her with his speed, but now that they were in class he was stuck.

She hoped that someone in the class would be more sociable than Kythra and Okra had been.
