Leena regretted having to excuse herself from the conversation but there were things that wouldn't get done by themselves. She smiled to Terry saying that she'd be back.

A timer had buzzed a few minutes ago and Leena came to check on the extra food she had left warming. Taking in a deep breath of sented air eena pulled another tray of chicken out of the oven. "This should be good, if that piece of luggage lets others try a taste." She chuckled softly at the thought of that chest eating whole dishes when it thought no one was looking, but being a good hostess meant keeping an eye on the level of food on the table and therefore had seen it eat not only all the chicken but the entire summer salad aswell.

holding a giant tray with the finess of a professional caterer Leena brought out more food. She called to the group that more food was here and looked pointedly at the chest when she placed the chicken and salads out. She also layed out a few bowls of popcorn and chips. She then went back to the kitchen so she could replenish the drink supply.

Once that was done she madde a quick round of the group asking if there was anything she could get for them and also saying hello to those whom she had not yet greeted. And then it was time for a breather, fixing a small plate for herself, Leena picked up the gift Terry had given her and went over to the bookshelf to add this little tiger to her feline figurine collection.

"What do you think Ti? I think it's going well." Leena sat down on the carpet next to Ti's favorite chair and had a small bite of salad. The tiger sniffed Leena's plate and wimperd so softly only Leena could hear. "Why didn't you just ask? i would have gotten you something anytime you wanted."

Leena offered Ti a large piece of meat from her plate and smiled as the tiger nuzzled her thans before taking the food. Then Leena sat back to watch the people who would be her classmates and one teacher who tried to blend in. Leena wondered how the sorcery prof had heard of the gathering and why she had decided to come. Maybe Leena would never know. She went back to her food and tried to decide who of these classmates would become friends.
