Leena smiled softly to herself satisfied with the spread she had laid out on the large dining table. She was satisfied that she had done her best to put together food that everyone might enjoy. she had laid out food for herbivores, carnivores and omnivores (seeing as she knew no one and had no idea what the rest of the students preferd in their diet). she also had ready tea, coffee and a big bowl of punch.
Leena picked 2 cookies off a tray and sat down next to Tianna on the floor beside the couch. "now comes the hard part Ti," Leena said feeding the tiger a cookie. "waiting. do you think anyone will show?"
Leena sat munching and thinking. Looking alternately out the open balcony doors and the wall clock she felt a light breeze touch her hair and saw the time slowly approach 7 o'clock.
*KNOCK*KNOCK*
Leena look to the door.
"That'll be the first one," She looked at Ti, "I hope i'm ready to meet them"
She walked to the door and opened it to great her first guest. Smiling Leena welcomed them in.
"Hi, I'm Leena. Please come in and make yourself at home." |
