Leena rummaged through the medicine chest and emerged from the depths with a bottle of pain killers. Leena softly rubbed the top of Tianna's head as she passed the tiger heading into the kichen.
While pouring another cup of tea Leena spoke softly.
"don't worry old friend, a few of these and some quiet and i'll be good as new." Leena popped 2 of the gel caps and sighed waiting for them to take effect. "i wonder what could be going on that would make that many people should that loud..."
Leena closed her balcony doors and all the windows hoping to drown out the sounds of the staff meeting. She rubbed her temples and clicked off all the lights and turned on the stereo by remote to play some classical music to soothe the migrane forming.
"as long as nothing else dramatically stressful or loud happens till morning i'll be good. if something does... well we won't think about that..."
Leena took another sip of tea and waited for the pain to go away. |
