Not even hearing stories about Ray could quite prepare a person for actually meeting him, Ananda had decided, the instant that Ray had jumped down from the ceiling. She had heard about Ray from Zohn, but hadn't expected this.
After watching Ray speak for a few moments, most likely unaware he was swinging his sword around to put emphasis on certain words, and almost decapitating a few teachers in the process, she spoke up. "I hope you don't object, Mr. Canell, to my request for you to put that sword away. We certainly don't need one of our students to happen by and see this, and tell the other students we're under siege.." She had the sinking feeling that most of the students would love the chance to show off their abilities, or those abilities that they assumed they had. |
