I looked at the multitude of people. It was good to see everyone here. We all were a part of running this fine establishment called YUME. I wondered if I was meeeting the standards my father would have expected...
I looked to see some staff still not here, so I waited. That's when someone landed from the library rafters onto the main table. A blonde with a gruff look, sword pointed out in his hand.
"BLOODY GOOD! I'm back from ANOTHER GREAT ADVENTURE, this time in Japan! Oh, gather around to hear of the old fable of the Cherry Blossom Goddess, and the relics I found relating to this tale of fantasy and wonder!"
"Well, well well. So you finally arrived Ray."
"Well top of the day ol' boy! I see I'm here at the right moment!"
Ray Canell is the co-founder of YUME, and my best friend. An eccentric and eletric type of person, he still continued his ruin exploring after I decided to build YUME. He still shows up as a special guest professor for courses such as Ethics and History. He knew a lot, but wasn't too good at keeping it to himself. He kept on rambling and he winked to me. He knew he could always steal a crowd from me. No matter. I walked around greeting teachers and staff alike.
"Your friend is really energetic." Ananda said as she came near to me. Iliana was on my other side.
"He sure is. Like the old times..."

Meanwhile outside the library, a girl with green pigtails sat in a chair with her luggage and an odd scepter. She looked in to see people gather around Ray.
"He always does that. When will he stop it? I can't even believe I'm here!" She scowled and looked for a pop machine to get a drink. |
