Ariana sat nervously in the back of the shuttle as it lifted into the air. Huge fans whirred, pushing the shuttle into the air. After a few moments of rising, a pair of huge engines roared from the back of the vehicle.
"Not to worry." Said the driver, "Perfectly normal turbulence. We'll be at the academy in about 5 hours. Please note that while the Shuttle is in motion that there is no standing. Sit back and enjoy your ride." HIs voice was calming, if somewhat bored.
Ariana looked around at the other potential students on the Shuttle. Most of them looked nervous, a few were positivly shaking. There was a small number who were glaring around at the others with contempt. There was one who stared at things curiously.
