OOC: I'm just going to continue where I left off in the last post.

Andrew's hand hovered for a moment above the page and he closed his eyes, a troubled expression on his face. Should he mention Mindmagic? He shuddered, nearly imperceptibly. He still had no idea who had sent that backlash towards him. He wasn't sure if he wanted it to be written that he was Gifted in Mindmagic as well.
Then, he opened his eyes and his mouth set in an expression of a decision made. /"There is no justification for lying to an authority figure..."/ he thought to himself, repeating something he'd been quoted as saying sometime during previous years. He continued writing.

Gifted in the following areas of MindMagic: Mindspeech (Thought-sensing and Projecting), Fetching, ForeSight, Empathy, Mage-Gift and Bardic Gift. However, none of these come in handy in battle, nor do I wish them to. As far as I am concerned this area is negligible and I would appreciate it deeply if you would skip over that and ignore it.
3. What do you expect to learn in this class?
I expect to learn as much as possible from your reputedly excellent teaching skills. I am expected to enhance my abilities as both Mage and Herald trainee.
4. If you were given the chance to study with an individual that is an expert in the field you are gifted and/or interested in, would you take this opportunity?
If you could /find/ another person from my world then you would amaze and surprise me. I do not even believe anyone here would know the location of the Gate through which I came. But yes, I would value the experience most highly. I would be eternally grateful if someone from my world were to appear in order to apprentice me, but I know it is not likely and thus, will not get my hopes up.
5. List any first impressions you have about your fellow classmates, myself, the school, or anything that you've experienced so far.

Again, Andrew found himself shaking. First impressions...did what he'd felt count has a 'first impression' if he didn't know who it was?

YUME is everything it should be and more. I am in control of myself here and also the SC, though Maisy does her best to keep my power in check. Everything is acceptable, but it isn't like home at all. That may sound sentimental, but it wasn't meant to be. Here there is peace and solitude standing side by side with conflict of all kinds and only here may you find that in a controlled environment.
My first impressions of you? You are beautiful, if I may say so, as well as intelligent based on the question you have asked. I can tell that you will be prepared to handle any situation and that you will do you utmost to give us the education we desire and need. I look forward to working with your class for the duration of this year and whatever years may follow.
