Skyshadow looked the sheet over and allowed himself a sigh. He really wasn't a fan of people probing into his intentions. Of course, unless this teacher was also psychic she couldn't really tell if he was lying. As a rule, however, he didn't lie unless he had to. So he started to work industriously at answering the five questions. But what if he didn't know the answers to them? He was going to end up sounding very unsure of himself, but hopefully only the teacher would be reading these and he could be sure it was confidential.

1. Why are you interested in studying magik?
I'm interested in the study of 'magic' because it is my duty and my destiny to make use of my Gifts. There are people in my world who need help and only the help I can give will save them. I have been told that this is the best place for me to learn how to perfect it and I know full well that if I don't then unchained power is a danger, as it is with any Talent. To say that I'm interested in studying it wouldn't be exactly correct...it's not that I'm not interested, but more that it's imperative that I do so and that comes before my wants or needs.
2. What area of magik are you the most interested in? What area are you the most gifted in?
Again, magic is not something that I took up because I was interested in or just because it got me into the Courts and in favour with the nobles, which was just a pleasant aside, but that it is something I was born to do. Heraldy is the area where I am most Gifted, but I also perform Magecraft as well.
In terms of the Gift I am talented in all the standard areas taught at the Heraldic Collegium in Valdemar. My illusions, while merely for show, are also quite impressive, so I have been told. I can Summon to a certain extent as well as make use of Ethereal geography.
