Voer was somewhat surprised as well, but he knew who Terry was. Sensing the need for secrecy, he allowed Terry to lead him into an empty classroom.
"I am functioning within expected parameters," Voer stated in response to Terry's question.
Terry nodded, "Excellent. But next time some one asks you that, say 'I'm fine thanks', okay?"
Walton raised an eyebrow, "I have already been well-informed by our superiors of how to act around the other students, they would not send me in unprepared," Voer studied Terry's face for a moment, then asked, "What are you doing here? They did not tell me of your presence." |
