Terry, Audrey, and Kurama turn their attention back to their food as the Luggage commotion is over. Kurama and Audrey go back to their conversation on residential versus commercial lots. Terry is about to interject when something catches his eye. He looks across the cafeteria to see an oddly familiar tall, dark-haired person standing in the doorway, surveying the area. Terry's eyes widen in disbelief as he puts his food down on the tray. This catches Kurama's attention.
"Are you alright Terry?" he asks.
As the person's gaze rakes by their table, Terry immediately recognises the face. It has been a long time, but Terry is sure that he knows the person.
"Terry?" Kurama repeats.
Kurama and Audrey are more than shocked when Terry suddenly bolts up and leaps over the table, clearing it easily.
"Voer!" he yells.
The person tenses almost immediately and Terry recognises the instinctive twitch of a gun wanting to be drawn. The person relaxes briefly as recognition hits. Terry charges over and practically leaps on the person to get a hug in.
"Hey Voer!" Terry says, pounding the person's back gleefully. "How are you?! I haven't seen you in so long! Come on, we have to talk! See you later caro!" he calls in farewell to Kurama as he drags Voer off.
Terry hustles Voer into the nearest empty classroom and turns to face him.
"Well, Voer, how are you?" Terry asks, suddenly very serious. |
