Physical Description:

Of average height and build "May" has corn blonde hair and pale green eyes. Her skin tone is a dark cream and she has a pale white scar across her temple, left from some accident. She usually has some sort of bruise or scrape as a result of her active lifestyle. She usually dresses in a short-sleeved blouse and a tennis skirt. Circular glasses with thin, wiry frames and clear lenses are an ever-present addition to her daily wardrobe.

Personality:

A cheerful, energetic person May is the light-hearted co-head of the student council who balances out Andrew's almost dictator-like leadership. Calm and business-like in her own way she nevertheless always maintains her sense of humour. She is a diligent, if somewhat mediocre, student who takes time out to enjoy a variety of extra-curricular activities. She likes nearly everyone, but is well aware of their faults. She is tenacious and determined when she's after something, sometimes sticking her nose into matters where it belong. But even in these cases she's ready with a quick and sincere apology. 

She dislikes field trips, preferring to stay near the home base of the university. While seemingly fearless on campus she's quite shy outside of it.

When it comes to battle she's just as bright and enthusiastic as always, just happy to get in some exercise. She's always a little miffed at losing, however.

Background History:

No one's really sure about May's past. They say that one day she just arrived on campus and since then has integrated herself so well into university life that no one's bothered asking about her pre-YUME life. 

Strengths:

Mecha Control - Ability to drive large mechas, use humanoid size mecha suits, great driving skills

Flight and Swim - Ability to fly using either a special force within, using planes or other flying machines, swimming abilities strong and even able to breathe underwater, can control naval vehicles like boats, kayaks, submarines and such

Weaknesses:

While she's not at the head of her class she is an average student in most respects, except history in which she struggles. She's a little prone to exaggeration.

She's also afraid of lightning and has trouble seeing without her glasses. Another of her weaknesses is the slow rate of healing, which means that it takes longer between fights to get her back to 100%.

Equipment:

1. Her suit of armour, her mecha, has been with her since before she came to YUME. Its name is Liberty and it is humanoid sized, fitting around her body so that she herself becomes the mecha. Her "hardsuit" is similar to those found in Bubblegum Crisis, except with some modifications. Its main colours are pink and white. Underneath she wears a "softsuit" which allows her to interface with the mecha. Liberty has a large arsenal of various types of weaponry.
2. A large scale, Evangelion-like mecha which relies on an external source of power and a battery back-up. She seldom uses this mecha, preferring to use Liberty even against other Mecha majors. Its name is Aquila Solstice. Its main colours are brown and white.

Moves:

These three moves are all done using the smaller mecha, Liberty. Aquila Solstice does not have any specialty moves, just regular mecha-like attacks.
