[Frequently Asked Questions]

1. "Can I join the RPG if I don't have a Yahoo!ID?"

No, unfortunately you can't.  All role-playing is conducted on the
Yahoo! Board so it would be impossible for you to be a part of it
without being able to log into that board.  However, acquiring an ID
is very easy.  It's free and will gain you access to all of Yahoo!'s
other services.  Simply go to http://clubs.yahoo.com and sign up.

2. "What's the setting of the RPG?"

YUME is located in Earth in near future settings (seeing as contact
has been made with beings outside our own planet).  The university
itself was opened approximately three years ago.

3. "Can I play a character that already exists in an anime?"

Yes, but in order to keep on the same level as other students you'll
be restricted from being overly powerful.  As with original
characters, your character's stats will have to be built up over
time.

4. "Are races and classes going to be stereotyped?"

In terms of typical weaknesses/strengths (ex. Mages lack physical
strength, fighters cannot use magic, etc.) they will not be forced
on any character.  Be realistic though, if your character is
equipping heavy armour their speed will probably go down.

5. "Every student has a Major, but do they do any regular learning?"

In addition to specialising in a specific form of fighting students
will go through the regular subject courses, such as English, Math
and Science.

6. "Is there anything to do on campus?"

Yes, there are numerous clubs and extracurricular activities.  There
is no available list at the moment as the RPG hasn't begun.  Check
back in September!

7. "If I die in a fight can I be resurrected, or can I at least start as a new
character with the same stats as the dead one?"

Don't worry, dying is an impossibility.  The University has hired an excellent
health staff which can save your life no matter how badly you're injured.  So
being resurrected and re-started aren't things you'll have to worry about,
usually.  The bottom line is: Your character cannot die while attending YUME.
