Physical Description:

Ray is a tall muscular blonde man who sometimes has a bit of a tan due to being in the outdoors the majority of the time. Not too clean shaven either. He dons a green outfit with a sword, sheathed on his back. His clothes mimic ancient medieval times as it's the period he enjoyed the most in his research. He wears contacts, so his actual eye colour is a dark brown, almost black.

 

Personality:

A braggart of sorts, he always like to elaborate about his adventures. When it's business though he's very serious about ruin exploring. He has a generally smug complexion except around his daughter. He tries to be comforting around her. Otherwise he can be a bit wild when deciding on whether to do things like enter a tomb or travelling to an unknown region. He fears no new experiences.

He thinks that the universe should be studied and explored. He has an eye for ancient relics and thinks the past bears the knowledge needed to determine the future.

 

Background History:

When they were younger, Zohn and Ray were ruin explorers; Zohn being the calmer researcher and Ray being the wild explorer. They parted ways when they opened up YUME. Ray only stayed a bit during the opening to raise his adopted daughter Trinity. Trinity was found during an expedition around their research site. She's an orphan and was taken in by Ray so he could teach someone his work.

Ray still visits with more crazy stories and to visit his old friend. Of more recent, Zohn convinced Ray to do a few seminar classes. He agreed as long as he could tell his stories, a sort of way to boost his ego while teacher others.

 

Strengths:

Power - Ability to be superhumanly strong, lift heavy things, wield heavy weapons like huge clubs, swords, bazookas and the sort, able to do power moves

Weapon Handling - Ability to use any weapon efficiently except ones mentioned in Gun Control(Unless you have both powers), able to use them in moves like sword slash, do staff spin and such, be able to repair them or reload them if it's a weapon like bow and arrows, slingshot, crossbow and such

 

Weaknesses:

Ray has a big ego which he feeds by telling of his great stories of exploration. He doesn't tell anyone except his daughter and Zohn that he can't swim, not even in a small pool.

He's also a little overbearing on Trinity, trying to teach her when she's sometimes not interested.

 

Equipment:

  1. Sword Excelsior: A weapon that is also his first ever relic. He is very good at swordsmanship as he learned of the medieval times way of life. The sword is of pure steel and a legend says it contains magical powers such as making it unbreakable. Ray brags about it but doesn't know how to activate the so-called powers.

  3. Explorer equipment-Various tools he uses on expeditions.

 

Moves:

    1. Overhead Smash: A sword slice over his head, so powerful some say that the unknown powers help the sword glow and amplify the swing.

    3. Rapid Succession: A volley of slices that are powerful, but seem fast. Again the unknown powers make it seem like Ray is fast, which he's not.
    4.  

    5. Downwards Hammer: A powerful punch from the top of the head swinging downwards at an opponent. A move Ray uses when unarmed. Also known by Trinity.
