"Joanne Parisi-Miller and I recently had the privilege to stop in at the retirement party of Jim Hawkins and Jack Keating (among others). Joanne had prepared something very nice to say and the crowd appreciated her stories as I'm sure Jack Keating did since it was mainly aimed at him. When she was through, at my urging, she handed him her notes and asked him to mark it! For those of you who had well wishes and other stories for Mr. Hawkins or Mr. Keating, those were passed along to them as well. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting with many other teachers who were there, both still teaching or retired. Unfortunately, we didn't get photos of everyone, but we thought you would enjoy these."
