Tenerife
So here we are in sunny Tenerife
Before we go traipsing around this volcanic wonderland let's just enjoy
the show in our hotel, provided by some wonderful entertainers from Senegal
We take a rather tatty but cheap boat to see the Dolphins
in the bay at Playa De Las Americas. Our "captain" tells us these
ARE Dolphins, but they look suspiciously like Pilot Whales to me!
If you should ever find yourself in Playa de Las Americas, you
will realise the best thing to do is escape to somewhere nice
as soon as possible. The photo above is a town in the north
of the island, they are preparing for a festival by covering
the town square with a sand painting. Fascinating to watch!
