| The design has specific reference to Bloor Viaduct and the temporary "luminous vial" designed by Waterloo graduate Derek Revington created as an anti suicide barrier for the safety of the traffic below. |
| The materials used were reconstituted steel and wood slating. The tectonic structure of the steel and its bolts and plates relate well with the viaduct with its age and large members. |
