Dettlo

Hello my name is Guy Dettlo. I’d like to tell you a little about myself. I am a 51 year old man that is the head lead for the snow removal team called VAMMAS. I’ve been a union member and strong supporter of unions since 1974.

I worked my first seven years as a laborer for local 1001. I became a teamster in 1981 as a Motor Truck Driver for the City of Chicago, Department of Aviation. In the course of my 30 years of service I’ve worked side by side with a lot of my brother and sister members, who I have come to know on a personal level.
