My personal goals are to see that the steering wheel, so to speak, gets back into the truck drivers’ hands who know what it takes to do the job. In recent years I have watched people be put into management positions who have no experience or knowledge in truck driving, but are very well educated in numbers and bottom lines. This is not what makes us productive. I know what it takes to be behind the wheel and I will dedicate all my time and efforts into getting this point across to upper management. I feel that we need the truck drivers’ opinions, and know how to really get the job done the right and most effective way. It is YOUR opinions that count.
