8. RETIREES / RETIREMENT


We from FIGHTING FOR THE FUTURE SLATE are very concerned about our retirees and our retirement. For your information your present Executive Board, while negotiating a contract decided that the members who retired and worked during the negotiations of the contract were not entitled to receive back pay. We feel this was unjust and very wrong. These members worked during this time and deserve their money. If we do not protect the retirees of now who is going to protect us when we retire. We at FIGHTING FOR THE FUTURE SLATE will never abandon our retirees. We have to make sure in the future there will be a retirement for us.
