By Laws and changes should help our members, so we ask ourselves this question, why would the Present Executive Board make only 1 By Law change and it just so happens to be about Section 17, NOMINATIONS AND ELECTIONS OF OFFICERS: RULES.  After checking we noticed the only change in this By Law is the word October.  Why would they take out the word October?  The only logical explanation would be they want to catch the members who want to run for office off guard so they are not prepared to have the appropriate people needed at the nomination meeting.  So in turn they cannot run for office.  This is why we are asking all our members who are coming to the March 21, 2007 meeting to help support the FIGHTING FOR THE FUTURES’ positive By Law changes, to vote “NO” to the 1 By Law change presented by the Present Executive Board.  We need your help on starting the process of changing our Local into one that will work for our membership.
