| The struggle to recover from Spiritual Abuse
is largely a struggle for understanding. This is reflected in the
kinds of questions that victims usually ask, such as, "How could I have
fallen into such a group?" or "Why would God let this happen to me?"
We may never arrive at satisfying answers to all of these questions
in this life, but we can come to terms with past. If we improve
our understanding we can begin to grow beyond the intense pain of the Spiritual
Abuse Experience.
