St. Michael's Cemetery Tombs
from being acquired by the
St. Martin de Tours Roman Catholic Church
Mother Church of the Acadians.
The Church wishes to either
Destroy/Remove/Resell
these monuments to our ancestors.
We ask that you read the letter on the following page and please
sign the petition
that follows.
This show of support for our efforts will help to let the church and cemetery
know that these actions must stop.

Feel the love of family is deeply embedded in our hearts from our anscestors
and
if we ban together as a group to protect our anscestors remains,
we will have a louder voice to be heard as we try to stop this destruction.
Our History and Past Information
are vital to the study of Acadian/Cajun
Genealogy.
Please take the time to read and sign this Important petition,
which will be used to stop all Tombs from resale or destruction
in all of Louisiana, and please kindly consider being a volunteer for our group.
A volunteer page is also available for your name and address/e-mail address.
Committees are being formed and much work needs to be done.
Some is leg work, and some can be done at home even if you live out of town.
A few hours of your time,
to all the time you can devote to this worthy cause
is needed!

at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery

those graves that are tagged for "Eviction."
