Located in downtown Dalhousie, the Restigouche Regional Museum is the perfect introduction to Restigouche county. The county is the most northerly in New Brunswick and presents the most diversity, culturally, climatically and geographically.
The museum has been in operation for over 30 years. It includes permanent displays on the lower level, a gallery for temporary exhibitions on the upper level and a well stocked gift shop.
Programs include kids' Fun Days in summer and free Sunday afternoon lectures throughout the year.
The museum collections include rare books, about 2,000 photographs and a wide variety of manuscripts and documents related to the area.
