This is not a description of a Finnish party for young people, but a statistic taken from internet.
Alcohol is the number one drug of young people in Finland. About 10 % of students in the 9th grade are fully fresh.
Finnish youngsters are the top drinkers in Europe with British and Danish students.
Cannabis is also becoming a popular drug in Finland. About 17 % of the young people here have tried it. Active users are still very rare. Only 1 % had used it over 20 times.
1 % has tried heroin.
In Finland most of the girls like to use alcohol and pills together. One fourth of the girls have tried pills and alcohol together. Only one tenth of boys had done the same.
Boys like to snuff here. 40 % of boys have tried snuffing. Only 12 % of girls have tried it.
The most drunk alcohol drinks are cider and beer. Girls drink mostly cider and boys beer.
Home made drinks are not popular any more. They were mostly used at the time of despression.
Most people have smoked, but only 28 % are regular smokers.
