I never actually got to the show, but I was at work near the venue and had been
hearing rumors all day that the band was wandering around downtown... I kept
thinking "Yeah, nice chance that i'd ever meet one of them." On my break I went
to the coffeeshop down the street and on the way back, eating a donut, I
happen to glance across the street to the park... and there, sitting on a bench,
is Ginger Fish. I nearly choked on my donut, to say the least... I shoveled the
rest of it down and headed over. He was VERY nice to me, and when I said that
I was a big Marilyn Manson fan, he invited me to sit and talk with him... and
when I said "It's a pleasure to meet you", he said "The pleasure is mine", then
asked me if I was blushing (which i was *grin*). Then he asked if I was going to
the show and then asked why when I said "no" .... it was because I had no
tickets, and had to get up mad early the next morning for a trip to Myrtle
Beach. I felt REALLY awkward asking for his autograph, but it was no deal to
him... He signed the bag my donut had been in, and four years later, that bag is
still tacked to my door. And the odd thing was, no one else was around him
while he sat on the bench. He said how nice Hamilton was, and that "No one
ever bothers us while we're here" (the band, i'm assuming) ... I did think that it
was odd that no one was around, but he obviously enjoyed it. And I enjoyed
meeting him, he was VERY nice and down to earth...
