Name: Fallen Star (or just plain Fallen as I call her)
Date: November 16, 2000 (a week before her 17th bday)
Venue: Electric Factory Ballroom
City: Philadephia, PA

Okay, well the show started at 8:00 and I was at the Electric Factory Ballroom in Center City Philadelphia. I was there a little early, so that I could get a good spot on the floor and also to meet up with a couple of Marilyn Manson bbser's (I only met up with one after all that, his name was Chris but I forget his user name...) and all that good junk. The opening acts were a local band called Burning Bride and gODHEAD and Burning Bride SUCKED, but gODHEAD was pretty good if I say so myself. Anyways, after what seemed like forever, Manson finally came on stage. It was so amazing, it was my first concert ever and a week before my birthday and here I was seeing MANSON!!!! So anyways, I'm all up front and there's this white screen over the stage and all you could see was a shadow of what looked like an angel with his wings spread. "Count to 6 and Die" was playing, but without the vocals. Suddenly the curtain fell and the band broke into "Irresponsible Hate Anthem" and oh my god, Manson looked sooo hot in his black corset and tights!!!!!!! He had the flame makeup and he just looked amazing. John5 was next to him, wearing something long and black, I forget, hehe. Pogo was up on his little platform and he had the keyboard on the spring which I think is soo cool lookin. I can't remember what he had on too much, or anyone else in the band except for Ginger, cuz he had the bulletproof vest on. The show was so great, at one point the pits were really rough and I didn't think I'd be able to stand, but then I got my balance back. "Sweet Dreams" was one of the best songs performed, the stage was covered in this green light and everything got really calm. When my favorite song "Valentine's Day" came up, Manson had on the pope outfit like in the "Disposable Teens" video and he was standing at this red podium with the gun cross on it. At one point in the show Pogo was using his keyboard on the swing and that was neat to watch. Pogo is so interesting to watch. I just couldn't take my eyes off of Manson though, it was so hard to believe that he was right in my face. At one point, pretty much in the beginning of the show, Manson had poured a huge amount of water from his bottle into his mouth and scanned the crowd. I was right in the front and suddenly his eyes fell on me and he just opened his mouth and spit the water into my face. At first I was kinda grossed out by it, but then I thought, "COOL! Manson just spit his water on ME!" and then I got kinda mad that I couldn't catch the bottle =( The night was such a blur that I can't even remember what the last song really was, but when time for the encore came and the band tried to get into "Astonishing Panorama of the Endtimes" they began to have some technical difficulties and couldn't play it. So they suddenly broke into "1996", one of my all time favorite songs. It was sooo great, because nobody expected it!

Well that was my night, I can't wait to see them at OzzFest on July 21st, whoo-hooo!!! Maybe then I'll get to meet them, that's what I'm really getting ready for.
