| If a verbal or written complaint is received by the Hays Area Children's Center Resource and Referral Agency, the following procedures will be implemented. 1. The complaint will be documented by staff and will be placed in the individual's county file. 2. If the complaint is non-threatening in nature, a personal phone call or letter will be made to inform the individual of the reported problem. 3. If the complaint involves the endangerment of any child, Hays Area Children's Center Resource and Referral Agency staff will contact the appropriate county surveyor to report the complaint. The county surveyor will be responsible for following the proper legal channels. |
