ROADWAY TO VANG VIENG

Welcome to paradise - Vang Vieng, located in the central southern Laos, 4 hour-drive north of Vientiane and 7 hour-drive south of Luang Prabang. Setting along the banks of Nam Song River, this delightful and scenic town is a new hot town for backpackers and also for Laotians. ROADWAY TO VANG VIENG

Traveling 150 kms to the north of Vientiane is a small town called Vangvieng. It surrounded by mountainous scenery and Nam Song River that lead to stalactite and stalagmite caves and it is also best for canoeing and rafting. This fascinating place is perfect for those who are searching for relaxation and be away from speedy life-style of the modernization.

 

Vang Vieng can be reached in 3 hours by bus from Vientiane and is apopular stop off point for visitors on the way to luangprabangProvince.

 
 
 
 
 

Nam Song River is another tranquil and scenic river in Laos. There are numerous limestone cave systems along the river to be stopped in.
