1.Greetings and requests to leave Use common sense here, unless you are completely new to Gor you should already know the greeting order. all we ask is that it be kept realistic, i.e. only greet those that are in your vicinity. The same applies when you wish to leave, you will make your way to a Free or first girl/boy and ask permission. you do not need to beg permission in an empty room.

2.There will be NO pregnant slaves in Venna unless a Free chooses to breed from His property.it will be assumed that upon collaring you were given slave wine, this does NOT have to be roleplayed out. Slave wine lasts indefinately, there is no need to give monthly doses. The only time a slave would get pregnant were if her Owner gave her second wine and chose to breed her with a thrall, which is highly unlikely.

3.No Travelling unless accompanied by a your Owner.Slaves of Venna are not allowed to travel with any Free Member of the home, they may only travel with their Owner unless express permission from their Owner has been given to travel with another, this also includes safe zones such as the fairs.

4.Use proper English correct punctuation, grammar and capitalization shall be used. The only thing not capitalized are slaves names. The made up Kassar language is not to be used by slaves.

5. In the case of an emergency all slaves will proceed directly to the medical center, servery or the slave villas They will use the pd's that are located in the raid section of the list to do this as these pd's actually state you are locked in. All communication will be in pm between slaves. slaves are to pay particular attention to the wounds received by the Frees as you may end up having to help heal them.

6.Slaves will wear their full names and tags at all times remember that your tags are a gift from your Owner and they may NEVER be altered for any reason without permission. Failure to comply could see you lose your name, or worse. Further a slave will never abbreviate her name when speaking of herself, your name was gifted to you by your Owner and to abbreviate it is disrespectful. City siaves do not add lines stating, they are branded, restricted, pierced; these things are to be shown via roleplay, not tags. We do not wish to know if you are a love slave, first girl, pleasure slave, etc by reading your tags, we wish to see it via your actions.

7. A slave will never touch a weapon without the express permission of a Free. The only exception to this is during an emergency healing serve. A slave will be allowed to handle healing instruments when assisting, and naturally they do not need permission to use the ulo's kept in the kitchen for food preparation.

8.Slaves will carry coins in whatever manner they are presented. If pressed to your palm then it is carried that way, if to your lips then you will honor the unspoken wish of the Free and not allow them to touch your hands.

9.Slaves DO NOT ghost. If you are in the city you are there to serve the Free's and that is where your attention should be. There are naturally exceptions to this such as a rti, but you will never ghost for any other reason and where ever possible you will seek permission before doing this. if you are going to be more than 5 minutes you will leave rather than ghost.

10.Slaves will use 3rd person when speaking of themselves there are enough examples in the books to support the use of either and the Administrator has made the decision that we will use 3rd person

11.Food and drink are not tested in the city so do NOT even offer it is unrealistic in the realm as a poisoning cannot occur during a serve in three posts(minimun standard acceptable to cause death of a Free almost everywhere on Gor) if the Free stops the serve to request it be tested merely smile and beg forgiveness and test the item. Keep the serve as flawless as possible. Nor will a slave sweeten a drink. if asked to by a visitor explain to them politely that it is forbidden in Venna

12.There will be no open bickering or jealousy between slaves unless in a roleplay context If a situation arises that requires intervention it will be taken to the first boy or girl. If a Free has to deal with it then it will mean punishment. In the books slave jealousy did occur and it will be accepted in a roleplay format, but if it goes beyond that it will be dealt with harshly

13.PM's and Message Boards No slaves will accept a PM (private message)from anyone other than a member of the city or a Free listed on the Honored Guest list without permission. Permission can be granted by any Free or the first boy/girl. If none are in attendance then the slave must say NO.The only two slaves in Venna that are allowed to post to any message board outside the city are the first and second girl or boy and they WILL seek permission before doing so, any other slave found to be posting will be punished.

14.slave suicides and/or escapes Going to try either - make it good, make it realistic but most of all remember these simple things, life was highly treasured on Gor so the chances of anyone killing themselves is very slight, and the chances of a slave being on their own long enough to do this are remote, Venna is a bustling city, there would always be people about. If you are that unhappy perhaps it is better to speak to someone, but if you are intent on trying this, standard rules apply in that two Frees of the home must be present, it will be judged by the Administrator, and npc guards etc must be taken into account.

Beware of the consequences of failure, death or release will not be one of them.

In closing, use your common sense. you more than likely chose the role of slave, honor it, be a slave. no-one enjoys constant whining, bitching or slaves that pull the "reluctant slave" routine, this is more likely to see you ignored rather than gaining the attention you seek. there are further details for slaves on other pages regarding training, levels, punishments, etc. take the time to read the pages and read the message boards before coming into the room, as with all else lack of knowledge is not an excuse, particularly if the information is readily available to you.

if you need help with anything at all - seek it!!!
