We had a horrible experience with Dr. Navot. His staff was rude and unprofessional, the test results
were never properly explained, they had far more patients than they could handle, and no individual
attention was provided to us."
"The first time we were ever in (Dr. Navot's) office, we clearly overheard the receptionist gossiping on
the telephone about another patient, making fun of how stupid she was. We had a bad feeling from
the start."
"We first went to see Dr. Navot for help with infertility in 1999. My husband had a semen analysis, and
on my next visit, I asked the receptionist for the results. She informed me that I'd "need to put it in
writing." I was standing right in front of her, and she refusted to give me the report! So I hand wrote a
letter to her right then and there!"
I went to Dr. Navot for a 2nd opinion and was not impressed at all. He is compassionate but for a guy
who "invented" the clomid challenge, he sure screwed me up with it. Didn't ovulate for months
afterward. I think he charges upwards of $20k for a donor cycle and basically kicked me out of his
office with my high fsh and a big clomid cyst he helped grow. I know he was voted one of the Best
Docs in NJ but he's not for me. Hope he can do more for you. Just my 2 cents. I truly wish you the best.
I had my first IVF and FET with Dr. Navot's office. I must say that I liked him as a Dr, however I was not
pleased with the rest of the office. We are now at Cornell and I just had my retrieval today.
I had my second child w/Dr. Navot, Although our treatment was a success...his office is a nightmare...
staff comes across as unprofessional...harried and uncaring. If we had to do it over again I would have
chosen a different RE.
After 3 years and over 40K we were told by Dr. Navot that we would need to get an egg & sperm donor and that we should consider adoption since we could not have our own children. His abrupt nature and staff always made you feel uncomfortable. He would never do IVF. After a year of heartache and almost losing our marriage over this, we decided to get a second opinion. NYU medical center was worth the drive. The Drs. called us by name and took time with us to walk through the procedure. The exact words were “Forget all the negativity you heard from Dr. Navot - let’s start with a clean slate”. I am happy to say after 1 cycle of IVF we are finally pregnant. With the right medicine and care we were
able to produce 9 eggs and also use my sperm - no donor was required!
