Another campaign, another war. When you just thought that everyone is sick of all the destruction and killing, you hear the latest news: we're gonna fry them. Why?
The war on Iraq is just another source of profit and another way to stabilize the decaying capitalist society. If you look back in history you will see that the capitalism has, and still is, experiencing crisis. Some of the biggest crises were during the monopolistic and imperialistic periods of capitalism. Then another example is the WW1 when new imperialistic powers sought out to create a new arrangement of World's resources and cunningly used the Yugoslav liberation movement in Bosnia (that was then a part of Austrian empire) to begin a war. Then everybody knows about the Depression, from which US managed to pull out (they say that it was the New Dill arrangement that saved the day, but that claim can be questioned). But again the crisis was overcome by a war. Just remember that Hitler was ignored as a danger as long as he was going east to the USSR. Most of the world leaders were quiet and some were supporting in his efforts to battle communism. But when he tried to confront his makers (Western "democracy"), he was...well they say he killed himself, but no one ever found the body. Maybe they should've looked in South America, where US hide his officers.
So the point is: western governments, with the blessing of the big business, are removing and applying governments as they wish, and only a small number of times their plans were interrupted, like on Cuba for example. But whenever "democracy" succeeds and presents peoples will (Argentina) the imperialist supported troops are ready to overthrow the socialist government and empower the new fascist regime. Now think hard and remember who put Saddam where he is today and who was he working for.
80% of US industry (meaning strictly US and not American owned industry in third world) is based on OIL. That is also one of the reasons why Kioto agreement didn't work out. And acording to some experts, there will be oil for some 30-50 years, depends who you listen to. It will be great monopol if you could control almost all oil in the world. So it all takes us back to the story of overthrowing one regime to instal another which will get out of control (and maybe that's the way it's suppose to be)
Ask yourself, should Iraq be bombed because some US analyses says Saddam posses weapons for mass destruction (no one ever asks why he didn't use them yet, if he realy has any) or should US be bombed, 'cuz their government has nuclear arsenal that can destroy several planets like Earth. Maybe US fear that Saddam would be able to destroy more planets then they are?
Anyone supporting war and bobmings and etc. should first go visit the land he/she is about to destroy and talk with people he/she is about to kill ol leave homeless. Isn't 500.000 children enough (this is not just a number, those are lives of children). And don't say Saddam is a menace to the world - we all know who is the real menace to the world, and so let the people of US of A first destroy their weapons for mass destruction and then blame someone else for "not respecting the civil rights", and for fuck's sake, don't give someone such power if you are just going to fuck with the people again.
