Guten Tag!

As most of you may know at this point, my name is Frederick Warburg, of Clan Toreador, and I am the recently elected Harpy of Melbourne. I will hope to the best of my abilities to serve this city and report all the information that pertains to this city.

First I would like to report some of the recent changes to the command structure and the newest members of this city.

Ms. Ivy Dupree is no longer the Seneschal. Evidently there was a misunderstanding between Ms. Dupree and the Prince that led her to believe she was the Seneschal. Prince Orrano meant in no way for her to be appointed to said position.

Mr. Derek Bishop of Clan Malkavian, the former Harpy and current Primogen of his clan, is now the Seneschal of this city. He is now considered Cherished and Esteemed. I know that some of his mannerisms may seem odd, but he seems like one of the best candidates for the job and I am glad he has filled the position left vacant by our Prince.

Also, Frederick Warburg, myself, was elected by the Primogen Council to fill the position of Harpy left vacant by Mr. Bishop. I am now considered Influential.

We also have two new members of this city.

Mr. Dervila-Sheptra is of Clan Assamite. He is the gentleman who has been preaching the way of Golconda. Best of luck to him and we should all welcome all members of the newest Clan in the Camarilla.

Also new to this city is a Ms. Tatiana Romanov. She seems like a very pleasant individual who has already aided this city. Her clan seems to be a bit hazy at this moment, but she has been placed under the Malkavian Clan. Ms. Romanov is also considered Well-Connected and Adored.

Welcome all new members of this city. All have been Acknowledged and tested by the Prince of the city.

As for the business of the evening, it all began with great concern for the situation at the Ramada Inn Beach Front. Over 54 people had been killed by a reported "Vampire." Mr. Destephano and two other members of the city, including the Brujah Sean McKinzee and the Toreador Kouji Anders investigated the area and found the 54 dead as well as several dead Vampires. I have been informed that their teeth were removed for the purposes of keeping the Masquerade intact. I am not very sure about the claim that a giant Egyptian creature was the cause of it all, however if the Tremere or the Setites could please have this looked into, it would be appreciated. Perhaps there is a connection here between the missing Egyptian artifacts and the appearance of this creature. I believe that the Setites are looking into the lost artifacts as well, so maybe they can find a link between the two. Also, all evidence of the area has been destroyed thanks to Ms. Romanov and others. I am glad that some initiative was taken, but let us not start fire bombing the whole city like I have read from several previous posts and reports. A city burned to the ground is not city at all. Concerning the creature that was seen, this may be a major threat to the city or just a roaming Vampire, but be careful of traveling beachside alone and be sure to stay away from the area near the Ramada Inn Beach Front.

Also, the Catiff known simply as Dante has been revealed as an Anarch and seems to have gone on a path of destruction and propaganda. He is the individual responsible for the break in at the National Guard Armory in Melbourne as well as the stealing of an Army helicopter. Now, evidentially the Prince has ordered for Mr. Dante to responsibilities for his actions. Mr. Dante subsequently brought a group of Anarchs into the Elysium, a "pose" as you Americans say, and began quoting from the Convention of Thorns. He made the claim that if anything happened to him, his Anarch buddies would find out what happened and "rectify" the situation. Now, even though the Convention is before my time, I am under the understanding that it was done to create peace between these two factions of Kindred society. Mr. Dante does not appear to be doing this. If anything, he is creating a greater rift between Anarchs and the rest of the Camarilla. Mr. Dante is also now considered Disrespectful. I do hope that this situation will be able to be resolved peacefully, as was the original intention of the Convention of Thorns.

Finally, the most shocking event of the night was the death of Keeper Drakos Drakhir. The events that lead to his death are shrouded in the mystery and intrigue that has encompassed the Nosferatu of this city. However, he has been killed in Trial by Combat with our Prince. The charges put upon him involved the stealing of an artifact which would provide this city with a great advantage in coming nights, cooperating with and aiding the Sabbat in a time of war, attacking without provocation an acknowledged member of the city within Elysium, and doing all of the above of his own free will and volition. Even though Mr. Drakhir was in frenzy at the time, the attack on Mr. Dervila-Sheptra was the only crime resulting from this rage. On a small side note, Mr. Dervila-Sheptra?s talk on Golcanda was greatly interrupted and lost most of its steam after the attack and subsequent capture of Mr. Drakhir.

Even though Mr. Drakhir?s actions did lead to his trial and Final Death, he was still a respected member of this city who tied to the best of his abilities to aid the city at any time he could. He should be remembered with the respect that he greatly deserves. I feel that every Kindred should be given the respect upon their death that they should deserve. Dredging up mistakes of the past is never a way for anyone to be remembered.

The military presence in this city is beginning to die down ever so slightly. Be sure to have proper identification on your person at all times, or simply take a cab to wherever you need to go. Oh, and don?t break into any government buildings or armories at this time. It would not be good for the overall security of the city.

I would also like to inform everyone that I have chosen my Assistant Harpies. One will be Mr. Kouji Anders of Clan Toreador and the other will be Mr. Gabriel Stormraven of Clan Gangrel. They both have a point of Temporary Status from myself and will be treated with the same respect that is deemed for the Harpy himself.
