Cheerio to all of the Kindred of the city,
As you can obviously guess, Mr. Bishop was not present at the meeting
last week. Therefore, I will be fulfilling the duties of Harpy. I do
hope that you all forgive me, this is the first time I have made such
a report.

This meeting was rather eventful, I do hope I will be able to recall
the events with full accuracy, but it seemed that on several
occasions the proverbial shite hit the fan.

First we would all like to welcome to the city four new Kindred.
Three of them are from clan Tremere. Mr. Sebastian Duboius hails from
New York and is adored for his aid in the rebuilding process of that
fair city. Mr. Duboius has also been named Primogen of Clan Tremere.
The other two are Ms. Michele Brylanksi whom hails from South
Carolina, and a Ms. Seohban. There is also a new Ventrue in the city
that comes by the accreditation of former Prince Wick. His name
escapes me at this time, but the Prince or the Seneschal has
acknowledged all of the new Kindred. Welcome all new Kindred to the
city.

The event of the evening ranged from the beauty of the poetic works
of Shakespeare to the dull rhetoric of Ian Flemming.

The main event of the evening was the negotiation for with the Sabbat
in reference to the capture of the Toreador Primogen, Wesley. The
negotiation party included myself, Mr. Orrano, and Mr. Peabody in a
security role. The Prince acted as the key negotiator. The meeting
took place in the… ahem…establishment called the Elysian Fields. Mr.
Giovanni acted as mediator between the two groups. The area was
designated as neutral ground for the negotiation. The Sabbat were led
by the interesting persona of Mr. Trent Masterson. Two other Sabbat
were present for the negotiation. Mr. Moorehouse had also evidently
been captured by the Sabbat earlier. The negotiations began on a
tense note, with no progress evidently being made. However, soon
after the meeting began to progress, there was a commotion outside
and police began to move around the area as well as the press corp.
Soon after, a Malkavian by the name of Francis, in an attempt to
cloak the negotiation from the police and press, caused the
investigation to break up. Mr. Masterson became agitated and soon
started throwing furniture about. The Prince, in her uncanny speed,
which has become infamous, fired upon Mr. Masterson after he began to
endanger the Toreador Primogen. Mr. Masterson entered his horrid form
and busted a hole in the building. Mr. Peabody, in an attempt to aid
the Prince, crashed through the roof of the club. Grabbing Mr.
Moorehouse, the negotiation party escaped without any serious
difficulty. Mr. Masterson had grabbed Wesley and taken him away.
It was later revealed that the press and police coverage was caused
by a Brujah by the name if Topher. He evidently called in the press
and crashed a car in front of the club. He than crawled out of the
car and yelled, "Viva la Sabbat." Mr. Topher has supposedly
been "taken care of" by the Brujah Clan.
The incident at the club also caused two MAJOR breaches of the
Masquerade. Mr. Masterson was seen in his horrid form feeding on a
reporter. Mr. Peabody was also seen flying away from the scene. All
of this was captured on a live news feed from the press that was
gathered outside the club. Mr. Peabody was not penalized for this
however, because the Prince says it was in just cause. This is mainly
because Mr. Peabody rescued Wesley from the clutches of Mr.
Masterson. It seems that the Masquerade has become a circumstantial
set of rules now. But this is really no surprise considering the fact
that I have heard Mr. Peabody referred to on several occasions
as "Mr. Walking Breach of the Masquerade."
Mr. Francis now owes a major boon to Mr. Giovanni for the damage to
his club. Francis also was given a "stern talking to." The Malkavian
Clan has also offered a boon to the Prince for Francis' actions.
On a lighter note, there was a raiding party who took down a Hunter
and raided his apartment. The Party consisted of Mr. Orrano, Mr.
Giovanni, Mr. Luchesio, Mr. Spire, the entire Tremere Clan, and the
Sgt. Major of the Nos. Sensitive items were discovered including
pictures of a caged "werewolf," Vincent Drake of Clan Venture, and a
picture of a killed Kindred, Leviathin.
The Assamite Retribution has been removed from the city and the
Gangrel Hephestus now owes a life boon to the Sgt. Major of the Nos.
The boon resulted from an attack by a "she bitch Assamite" on a party
led by the Sheriff, Mr. McTierdon, in an attempt to find Mr.
Moorehouse. This Assamite very much "tore up" the Gangrel, almost to
a state of destruction. Obviously, the rescue was a failure.
Because of some bad decision making by the Sheriff, and because he
attacked the Seneschal, Duncan McTierdon has been removed as Sheriff
of this city.
The New Sheriff is the Setite Jonah Spire. This decision was made
with no repercussion by the other clans. Or at least no one said
anything at the general meeting. This now is the third Sheriff in the
two months I have been here. Hopefully Mr. Spire can remain more
constant.
Our New Keeper is Ms. Joan Paisley. However, because of the need to
enforce the rules, Ms. Helen Troy has peen appointed Assistant
Keeper. Also, the position of Scourge has been dissolved. It is now
the responsibility of all Kindred of the city to take up the task of
finding and "taking care of" unacknowledged Kindred. We hope that
everyone is up to this task.
Also, Clan Ventrue have been stricken of their stasis as a
significant clan to have a part in the Primogen Council. This means
the land that was formally under the control of the Ventrue is now
under the control of the Brujah. Also, the Brujah have generously
donated a set of land from this new territory to the independents as
their new feeding grounds.
