Teenager In Love
I'm continually looking at this picture I cant look away,
I stare into her eyes,
I'm gazing at her and she stares back blankly,
she wants me and doesn't say so.
She hints that she knows I want her and knows that I can never have her,
she smiles oh how she smiles,
what shall I do in school when I see her? Smile and wave and act like everythings alright?
Should I Smile and wait for her to move on by before I breathe?
Should I let the wonderful moments of her company pass by or should I say something?
I wonder if I'll ever be able to breathe again, break into sweat,
will I be able to sleep tonight, will I dream of her?
Is This a Dream?
If it Is I hope I never wake up.
This poem can be about anyone, its about no one in particular, my friends and people who know me well will probably say otherwise, it does have alot of meaning behind it though, alot of my own experiences have gone into the writing process too.
Whoever it is about, I hope will see the poem as a respectful homage and not an obsessive cry. As always.
