(Teams 7-12) based on draft order.
Schedule: 14 game regular season set to
begin Fri. Nov. 14 (see schedule) thru Sun. Feb 22, 2009.

Fees: $270 per team due
in full by Wed. Nov 19th. $230 is league entry fee,
$40 is a deposit on transactions. If $270 is not paid in full by
Wed, Nov. 19th, your team is not eligible for any player pickups until paid
& they are not eligible for the $30 high for the week for the entire
regular season. Checks to:
Playoffs: Top
two in each division qualify. Tiebreakers as follows: (1) head-to-head,
(2)
Conference record, (3) total points & (4) Point differential in
head-to-head games.
Transactions: For the first week of claims here is the
order (different from last year – transactions start after Week 2!!!)
Mon. Dec. 1 – Teams 12 thru 9 in order
of standings after Week 2 have until
Tues. Dec. 2 – Teams 8 thru 5 in order
of standings after Week 2 have until
Wed. Dec. 3 – Teams 4 thru 1 in order
of standings after Week 2 have until
Thurs. Dec. 4 – all teams who want a
second player have until 5pm Thursday!

Starting
Monday, Dec. 8th we will revert back
to the old process with transactions for all teams opening on Monday’s and closing
Friday’s at 5:00pm, for eligibility the next week.
$5 per team per trade & $10 to claim a player off
the wire.
A
maximum of two players may be picked up in any week per team. Players released
one week are not eligible to be picked up until the next week. The tiebreaker for claims on the same player
is as follows: (1) lowest W-L%, (2) least # total points & (3) fewest
acquisitions. Players that are traded cannot be reacquired by the same team
for three game weeks. A player may be placed on Injured Reserve, if he has played in a game (including
exhibition games) & then misses an entire game due to injury or
suspension (i.e. A player not eligible until the 2nd semester (i.e.
Transfers), or a player that has not participated in at least an exhibition
game cannot be placed on IR until he has played in a game. $10 to place on IR, $10 to claim a new player & $10 more to
take off IR (if necessary).
Rosters: Same
as always (2) Centers, (3) Forwards & (3) Guards. Starting (1, 2, 2) each week.
Lineups: Starters
due each Monday (with the
exception of Week 1 – due Friday Nov. 14th). Try & use the
MESSAGE BOARD ON THE WEB SITE. [email protected] or (W) 315/701-6436

Monday. If you fail to submit a lineup you are forced to use the prior
week’s lineup.
Since we are using all regular season
games, please review your schedule before placing
your weekly
lineup. UCONN may have 3 games in a week &
Payoffs: Playoff
champion will receive $850,
runner-up $400 & Semi-Final
losers will receive $175 each.
Division winners will receive $135
each and the High-point total for each week will receive $30, if eligible. The transaction pool will be divided as
follows: 40% team with the best W-L,
30% to #1 in total points, 15% to #2 in points & 15% for single game week high for the
year. All ties will be split evenly for transaction fees. NIT champion
receives $60. $5 per team will be deducted for league
expenses this year & Ryan Treat has been given a $60 credit for his help
with scheduling & web posting of results when I am away.
Scoring
System: Same as last year: Points scored = points scored; Turnovers
= negative 1 point.
Rebounds: 0-2 =
0 pts. Assists: 0-2 = 0 pts.
3-5
= 2 pts. 3-5
= 3 pts.
6-8
= 4 pts. 6-8
= 6 pts.
9-13
= 6 pts. 9-13
= 9 pts.
14+
= 8 pts. 14+
= 12 pts.
Official Totals are from espn.com, if there is a
discrepancy, totals will be compared with totals from the Big East web site or
participating school’s web site. All
decision made by the commissioner are final!
